Ktwom, did you disable the "Allow Connection to USB" or some'n like that in ActiveSync? If not you won't be able to see the USB port.

Follow the instruction closely, I suggest.

i have been using the UNI_ExitBootloader file to get my phone out of the bootloader screen. it works really good. i haven't encountered any problems with it yet. here's a link to the file.

on my model phone, the serial bootloader is v1.00
on my coworker's replacement phone, he's got 2.02

I was getting this error on his phone but never received it on mine. The actual problem in my case was the usb cable i was using wasn't registering it into usb mode. So i swapped it to a ziplink retractable cable with a 5in1 head, and it worked great. Try that if you still can't get in.

Yep, just tested. Just run it and it's instantly fixed.
Unfortunately you have to first register for that site, but it's free.

Thanks, that worked nicely.

HELP!!

I'm stuck in bootloader, and none of the above utilities work! They all act like I have ActiveSync enabled--they can't access the USB. I have thoroughly disabled ActiveSync like a hundred times, and nothing I do seems to work! I've GOT to get this thing out of BL . . . any other suggestions?

EDIT--nevermind. This turned out to be a half-bad cable; it would deliver power but not all the USB data signal, apparently. Thanks anyway!

Peace

Interesting. I had the same problem with my USB cable. It was with one of those thin self-windup kind. Drove me nuts trying to test out a new ROM and not being able to connect appropriately.

With todays trends, your sig line might be more like:

"Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Give a man a fishingpole and he'll break it into pieces for firewood... or exchange it for a fish"

or "Give a man a fishing video game and he'll teach himself how to fish, meanwhile missing opportunities to actually go outside to fish.
