XV6700 working fine!

I have not experienced any issues with the VZW xv6700 only the the smart dialing which was fixed by the reg edit posted by colonel.

steps to install 3.3 were:

1. restore to factory settings (hard reset)
2. flash 3.3
3. restore factory settings again
4. soft reset before customization from VZW

my XV is running all my apps (memmaid,tomtom6,spb backup, spb plus, resco,ewallet,phatnotes,and a few others) changed splash screen from telecom to custom using these instructions:

http://ppcgeeks.com/splash-screen-t1932.html --- Thanks isamu49

joystick works on every apps, picture/video are fine, no contacts isuues.

This is a great ROM thanks again Helmi and wideawake.

this ROM is carrier independent, correct?

I'm still unable to copy the files needed from the oem directory into the windows directory for the pictures and video fix. I've tried totalcommander and resco explorer to no avail. I can't seem to rename the files in the windows directory either. It just makes a copy of the file with the new name.

Any ideas or suggestions?

The ROM works great, the only issue I experience is with BT. BT will stay on during a call(havent tried a long call), but when i toggle it to audio gateway, it will only stay connected for ~15 seconds and then turn off. I have the Plantronics Discovery 640 and have never had an issue with using the old ROM. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Solution, http://ppcgeeks.com/music-through-re...+work+aku.html

All I did was, using total commander, go to the \windows\oem directory
Then select both of the dlls and tap file, copy/move
In the pop-up, tap Tree
Select \Windows
Tap ok
Tap Copy (move works too)
If it asks you about overwriting, tap yes

Seems to work

Can someone please try powering off (suspending) with Wi-Fi enabled? My VZW XV6700 screen won't come back on after I do this, and then it requires a soft reset.

To solve the SD problem, I changed the SD registry to the following as the custom AKU2.2 does:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS]
"EnableCacheWarm"=dword:00000001
"EnableWriteBack"=dword:00000001
"FriendlyName"="FAT FileSystem"
"Dll"="fatfsd.dll"
"Paging"=dword:00000001
"EnableCache"=dword:00000001
"CacheSize"=dword:00001000
"Util"="fatutil.dll"
"CacheDll"="diskcache.dll"
"Flags"=dword:00010046

Everything is working smoothly so far.
