Help!! Radio Disappeared!!

I have tried everything to get it back. From rom updates to radio installs and can not seem to get my radio back. Can not make calls or recieve calls. When I s/r, R-NONE!!! WTH? Can anyone please help?

OH YEAH THE "HELP IS HERE" QUOTE.......I MEANT THE ONLY FREAKIN HELP WOULD BE TO GET RID OF THAT PIECE OF CRAP. I dont know why I didnt buy an iphone sooner.

there are several threads here on ppl losing their radios and being able to retrieve them. Have you gone through the forums via 'search' and ruled everything out?

Yes, I think. I have dl 1.43 and tried to install but it will not take it. Dont know what to do. I must add that when I tried to upgrade radio, I keep getting country code error #120. I am also unable to do a rom upgrade.

There is more to it than just trying to reflash and install the radio, Have you tried How To Get Your Radio Back and over at www.ppcgeeks.com?

I have tried all of that. I am starting to think I have a hardware issue. Used mtty software and gone through those steps over and over. No luck. I wish there was someway to install a radio via a cab file. It just seems like my radio has just disappeared.

Honestly mine dissappeared about what six? eight months ago? I tried everything in here and got on chat w/ luv2chill and colonel. It was gone. I walked into Sprint store w/repair dept. in it and they handed me a new one in box like 10 min later. They didn't even take the phone in the back.

I searched here and googled for a radio update via cab, I thought I saw one a bit ago, but I can't find anything. I'll post here if I do!

I was just able to get it to take a 1.43 update but I am still having problems with it losing calls, not being able to make or recieve calls, and losing signal sitting in place-going from full bars to nothing and phone not even moving in house?????

Think its time to chunk it?

Judging from your previous post you have probably tried this but thought I'd suggest it in case you haven't. Have you gone to the utstarcom web site and reflashed the stock ROM? If not you may try that. The only downside is that it installs bootloader 2.05. You can however revert to bootloader 2.02 if you check this thread. Hope that helps.

Tried but will not let me go back to stock. I have tried that several times only to lock up in bootloader again and having to set 14 0 then task 8 witih myyt to get it back. Any other suggestions before I ebay or trash this thing???

Yeah I would go to the chat room and try to find naiga, he may be able to help. He helped me a lot.
