GSFinder+ vs Total Commander

I picked the GSFinder+ from the kitchen, but I notice that when trying to manage files, I have to do 1 at a time.....I don't seem to find a way to manage multiple files at once......is there a way to select multiple files? Does the Total Commander have functionality that the GSFinder don't?

Yes, you can copy/move a whole folder using Total Commander. I would prefer the option of selecting some of the files within a folder usign a check box but it is not available. If you find one that does the trick, please post your results.

I can grab mulitple files with the GSFinder but I had to use a different technique. Instead of highlighting on the file names while dragging, I started to the right of the file name and dragged my stylus down and left. All files in the path were highlighted. Hope this helps...Bob

The Total Commander screen has a "Ctrl" icon/button at the bottom - toggle this button on/off to allow multiple selections like ctrl-click. You have to turn off the button to re-enable shortcut (i.e. tap-and-hold) menu functionality.

I found I could do the same thing with GSFinder+ by opening the soft keyboard and using the ctrl key. I may have to try the Total Commander on my next ROM.

You can use both. You can load TC with a cab if you would rather not do another flash.

Here is the cab. You can install it to your storage card if you wish, so you save space on your device.

ok Ga. Medic....how does this work with both installed? The GSFinder+ "takes over" as the default app, so if I open the "file explorer" program, that's what I get. What do I need to do to make TC run? Can I set it as the default app when installed from a CAB?
