I just got a Sandisk 2GB card for my 6700 and off ebay, it works great! It is possible you got a bad card, that can happen. As for the generics, I try to stay away from them. However, if they claim to have a manufacturer's warranty on that generic card send it back. If you want the name for the person on ebay I got mine from, just send a PM and I will pass it along. With shipping I picked it up for $60 US dollars. I had it in one weeks time.

I got on of ebay 2 for about 60 bucks and when I put it in my computer it got corupted but it worked fine in my 6700 but a little slow so I emailed ebay guy but noresponce from him so I called sandisk and they sent me an email with a fed ex return lable I'm still waiting to get it back but the ebay guy sucks for not responding to my email

yea I steer clear of minisd cards off ebay. theres a lot of good deals from legit companys out there, just check out the minisd card deals. I brought my 1gb from zipzoomfly and no probelms yet, and a full limited lifetime warranty.

I purchased a 4GB card off ebay and it doesnt not work also in my XV6700 is there not any program that can make this work???

Yeah, I have a 1gig card in mine and it's not showing either, no matter what I do... Good to know it's not just me having this problem..

Yeah, check Newegg.com...you can get 2gb cards for next-to-nothing...
