Guys please help with this problem
 

I am using my ppc-6700 on RELIANCE network in INDIA. It is RUIM based handset. Actually my friend got this for me from USA. It was on verizon network in the US.It was working fine till today when suddenly an icon which looked like a triangle appeared in between the Start icon and 1X icon on the topmost part of the screen.After that i am not able to make outgoing calls. When i dial i get an engaged tone and the call gets cut . I am attaching a few photographs of the same . Guys please try and help me out. Thanks in advance.

ok according to the microsoft icon glossary that little icon means your roaming for the full glossary go here

open the dialer press the menu soft key select options then select the services tab scroll down to roaming press get settings then choose your carrier only hit ok and that should do it

I donot have the roaming option when i press the menu softkey in the dialer i have
1) save to contacts
2)creat note
3)call history
4)speed dial
5) options
6)device information
7)smart dialling options
and under options i have
1) phone 2) services 3) more . Is there some hack to enable home and disable roaming ?. Thank u once again

read the text that you quoted;
go to options, then services, then roaming

ok just a little clarification open the dialer press the menu soft key then select options once you've done that then select the services tab at the bottom of the screen once done with that in the box on this screen scroll down to roaming highlight it and press "get settings" then choose "your carrier only" it will probably be "reliant only" or some such then hit the ok button and that should do it

Like u said under services i have NETWORK SERVICE here when i highlight it and press GET SETTINGS i get two options ie. HOME and AUTOMATIC . Here i tried both home and automatic options but the phone is still in the same condition. please help.

you should get this page only instead of sprint only it will say home only or reliance only click on that and hit the ok buton in the top right hand corner

in my phone insted of carrier name i have only two settings .1) HOME 2) STANDARD and even if i enable either of the settings the phone remains in the same condition without any changes and shows roaming on the screen.Thanks once again but guys please try and help.
