Review: Seidio Crystal Clear Case

Well I ordered my Crystal Case from Seidio 2 days ago and it finally arrived. Luckily I live about 300 miles from Houston, Texas so it didnt take long at all.

My feelings about this case so far is that it is great. I had bought a plastic case like this one for my Treo 650 but the plastic just felt cheap. This plastic feels very high quality and it secures to the phone very well.

My only concern is that when the case is on it creates a lot of friction when you try to open the slider. My concern is that part of the plastic case is rubbing the actual phone, potentially causing scratches.

I chose the crystal case first of all because it was the only one without the extended battery opening, plus I like the smooth finish rather than a rubbery finish.

All in all I am satisfied. I had high hopes for this case and most of them have been fufilled.

Pics Below! Enjoy!

It looks like a nice case and I've been wondering if there were hard skin cases available for this phone. Thanks for the review. I'm definitely considering purchasing it.

The one I have is the:

CRYSTAL CASE FOR SLIM 6700 (WITH NO BATTERY CUTOUT)

There are a lot of different versions of the case so be sure you get the one you want. Mine was $24.95.

Like I said in my review, I knew this would happen. The case is scratching the paint off of my phone. That is what causes the friction when you open it. Mind you this picture was taken after only 5 hours of use.

P.S. Sorry about my poor paint skills, also the damage on the top half of the phone was caused by a drop not the case.

If there was THAT much friction you should have known something was wrong. Someone else posted with a similar problem and Seidio offered to replace it.

Meh, I think I can deal with some cosmetic damage. As long as the case helps protect the phone (in other words, when I drop it), I don't care.

from what I have heard, the rubber one is just a plastic one coated with a spray. Some report that the rubber is peeling off and that it scratches really bad
