how to make a shortcut to disconnect from network?

The hack that gives a bubble with connection time and disconnect option isn't working for me (I've got a Verizon XV6700 with phoenx06's C&S ROM). I need a good way to disconnect from the network. Does anyone have a way to write a small program that can be bound to a button which will disconnect my phone (EVDO) network connection?

Mike

Try tapping the "ev" icon

Greetings:

I thought the same thing, however it seems tapping the "ev" icon will bring up the disconnect bubble (the reg entries to enable it are built into the WM6 Helmi kitchen, that's the first thing I checked).

In WM5 you tapped the "connection" icon, (not sure what it is called), which is to the right of the "ev" or "1X" icon.

I also am on VZW, XV6700.

Hope this helps.

Duh!! Thanks so much - that's great. I can't believe I didn't try that... This saves me a whole lot of hassle - thanks.
