Get the kitchen and use it. the 3.3 "upgrades" your bootloader and will cause issues with the new kitchen. It will still work but you will be more limited as to what you can build in. Besides, WM6 ROCKS!

I am with everyone on helmi's wm6....I loaded the 3.3 and it doesn't do anything special. It makes the phone slower in most cases and only with a good amount of registry hacks can you make it faster. Helmi's is an amazing rom and would never switch. It is faster than that 3.3 aku that starcom overs......now for helmi to hook us up with the wm6.1

So the ROMs aren't like OS's in that you don't need previous versions? I.e. Going from XP to vista using the upgrade software. It's more like getting a full version OS. Am I understanding that correctly?

yes you are understanding that correctly. You can flash your phone to whatever rom you want whenever you want. You don't have to have 2.3 in order to upgrade to 2.4 (only example not true versions). Then again starcom recommends that you upgrade with the first rom and then 3.3 because the first upgrade (which is 2.x) gives you a different bootloader. This bootloader has given people problems and most people stay away from it.

Thanks for the information. It seems like its nothing for the Alltel 6700. But yeah I did see people with the 6700 with the iPhone Theme and other themes also. They also have some sessions on youtube.
