The best (most accurate) one is:

http://www.dslreports.com/mspeed?jisok=1

But others are:

http://reviews.cnet.com/7004-7254_7-...tag=cnetfd.dir

http://www.toast.net/

http://www.aroundcinci.com/speedtest/default.asp

Something is funky with the DSL mobile speed test - I got:
Quote:
Mobile speed test

531 kbit/sec

0.249s latency
15.661s d/l time.again.
On my 6mbit DSL line, using the 1MB version

Are you running this test by connecting your 6700 to your PC over a USB activesync connection? What speed are you getting over EVDO?

Using the non-mobile speed tests, what speed is your PC getting?

Running the mobile speed test directly from DSL Reports on my linux machine, I get those numbers - ie, running thru my 6Mbit down dsl line (which gets, oddly enough, a wee bit over 5.2mbit down) I only see .5mbit down with the mobile speed test.

I'll experiment some more.

Don't use the mobile speed test to test your PC, use this one:

http://www.dslreports.com/stest

(The mobile one uses smaller upload/download files which are not appropriate to test desktops or laptops)

Oh I know, I was just wondering why the mobile speed test seemed to under-report the speed, so I was testing it against a known speed.

Turns out my DSL line was having problems Now the mobile test correctly reports 'too fast' - so never mind
