Need help in text department
When reeiving an incoming text message instead of the sender's name or number being in the top slot the first word of the text message is here. I don't know what the problem is but i really would appreciate the help. I don't know who's sending me text unless they include a callback number. I have a ppc 6700 but i updated my software to rom version 3.50.00 WWE with the apache link from this site and my extrom version is 2.06.303 WWE

Dont know what provider you have....but try going to the www and send yourself a text to help troubleshoot the problem.

When I updated to WM6 I had the same issue, this is what fixed it for me.
________________________________ The fix for the text message issue is: 1. Hard reset your phone.(choose "Y" to restore defaults. Don't forget to backup your contacts.) 2. When it prompts that it is going to start the customization in 3 seconds, do a soft reset. Apparently the customization is not needed.
