Thanks tiermann. I have Visual Studio 2005 and will try to do some programming with VB for WM. Thanks again. I'll let you know how it goes.

Can you write one that will only copy the sms and mms. I dont need the emails backed up as it syncs to my outlook.

Be great if there was just a app that i could use to back it up demand to my storage card, that ways i can archive it in on my computer. I get lots of client text and I like to archive everything.

Does anyone know how i can view the cemail.vol file?

I just tested this under my sprint mogul 6800. and sent several sms messages. It did not backup to my storage card.

I did find a pim.vol file in the same \ as the cemail.vol file. Would this be the file this app makes as a backup?

I still need a way to view them if possible.
