Anyone have a joystick/d pad?

Ok so the d-pad on my 6700 is crapped out. It acts as if its being pressed down all the time and unless i pull up on it it stays like that. Its causing some of my software to crack out and i'm pretty sure it's affecting the battery life.

Anyway if someone here has a spare case w/ the dpad circuit board on it i'll gladdy pay for it. My case is pretty beat up but still fine but this d-pad has to be fixed.

I feel your pain. Mine still works but it's getting really flaky and the rubber piece is missing - it's a pain to use without it.

I'm tempted to see if it's covered under the monthly warranty I pay for. The case is kind of beaten up but I've had the phone well over a year. I guess I'll figure it out later. Hope you're able to get a new joystick.

i'm seriously considering saving some pennies and getting a mogul; maybe my sprint rep (i work at rat shack) can get me a deal

Call your provider. Verizon replaced my 6700 free (no charge to my insurance) because they have known issues with the joystick. Don't deal with one of the level 1 flunkies, but ask for a manager and press the issue that it's a known defect in the joysticks.

2 i'm probably on sprints shit list as many times as i've called and griped at them THOUGH THEY STILL CANNOT GET MY ACCOUNT RIGHT
