ROM building
I read the tutorial on ROM cooking and kitchens and i have to say i am thoroughly confused. I thought it might be easier just to compact them into cabs that would be installed on my device. Basically i like Helmi's ROM, but there are a lot of programs i simply do not want on there. I would like to build my own custom ROM to load but it seems way too confusing. Can anoyne explain it to me in further detail or help me build a ROM?

packing them into cabs takes up storage memory...using them in a rom and elinating the bloat is by far the better way to go...you can have 20 essential programs(programs you want/need) or 6 bloated apps that providers try and force feed you...the choice is up to you. i for one have not been able to make my own rom but lots of people here can and some may be willing to help if you ask nicely...which you have so like AAA help is on the way!

You can put them into your own cab file, but you need a program in order to do that - such as WinCE cab manager. It's better to just include them in the rom as was mentioned...
