Can't receive calls on my XV6700 (Verizion)

So I opened my account in TX and recently relocated to CA for a job so I brought my phone with me. Yesterday, I dialed *228 to get the latest PRL and now I can't receive calls. I can makes call though.

Any ideas please?

ROM: Latest New Core Helmi 3.5.

I started having the same problem this morning. If I disable EVDO calls come in like normal. If I dial ##778 and re-enable EVDO I can not receive calls.

I have been on with tech support and they can't seem to find the problem.

I found the solution...try this

Dial ##778 go into Edit mode, select Modem Settings, and if Hybrid Mode is Disabled, Enable it!! it worked for me.

I had the same issue but we identified that if I was on a call I could get an incoming call through. Txt msgs could also come in but only while I was already talking. I could call out with no problems - just could not get inbounds.

VZ tech support ended up sending me a replacement (work phone)but I did not try any tricks other then multiple attempts to reprogram. I even flashed back to the OEM ROM but no luck.

I hope you find a good trick that works - perhaps like the one above.

Yeah, I had this issue once and what Vboz103 said fixed it then too. It doesnt seem to be a very common issue but at least it is a known issue with a resolution to it.
