slower call indicators since update to new ROM?

has anyone experienced this? my home phone # is forwarded to my cell phone so when someone calls I hear my house phone ring once then I get the "call status" indicator on my phone but there seems to be a delay before I can actually press the "answer" button. I could have sworn it was faster on the old ROM.

been a long time since I posted this but I figured out the problem. If your ringtone is on the storage card, the card has to "wake up" before the tone can play. I copied the .wav file to \Windows\rings and that resolved the issue.
