This is happening to me also with VerizonGuy's kitchen. I flashed back to the ROM I was previously using (WM6 Clean) but it's still not working! Not sure of the origin. Which ROM are you presently using?

Best,
MJB

omfg, thats exactly when it stopped working for me,, when i flashed with verisonguys kitchen and it errored at the end of flashing, im now on helmis 3.5 wm5 rom, i've tried flashing to factory rom and everything, hard reset, soft reset,, it still just does it , and is driving me crazy, interesting to see that it stems from the "verizonguy's wm6 kitchen",, now to collaberate n try and find a solution, because i've tried just about everything there is to try (to my knowledge anyway),, even cooking a rom without win live, and installing it separately (latest version) also.
i dont understand!!! its driving me insane as i am a frequent user of it.

It is not the kitchen, I too have this problem and I'm using Helmi's original release.

yeah i know its not the kitchen. I also came across the idea,,, could it have to do with having a corrupt CID...? all i know is that windows live worked before i tried the verizonguy kitchen, and it errored when flashing, now i cant flash anything without having to use the noid RRU, i've tryed every rom out there and no matter what rom i use, or how many times i hard reset, still hangs live messenger,

Im starting to think this really may pertain to a CID issue stemming from VerizonGuy's Kitchen. Go to start>settings>system>device information>identity. What does it say under Model No.? Mine is blank, but I believe it is supposed to say PA10A1. Let me know!

Check and see if either of the following work:
1. Live Search
2. Hotmail through PIE, just try signing in and actually opening some messages.

Neither is working for me and I believe all these issues are correlated.

MJB

P.S. This sucks, hopefully we can get to the bottom of it.

hotmail works for me, but livesearch and windows live do not, the question is how to put the model No back in the phone.

I have not flashed the kitchen. I am running the Clean, No Junk WM6 ROM. My Model No. is definitely PA10A1, Platform PocketPC. Windows Live works for me.
