java applets on websites dont work?

i have wm6 on my 6700 and did the PIE to IE hack but i still cant get a certain java applet to work that is on a website

is there any way i can get that site to work on my phone?

The new version of Opera is supposed to have extended support for flash and java.

netfront browser will run some java applets too. can crash or lockup on ya though.

this is the one huge problem i have with this phone.

Not sure if it true, but sun microsystems, who owns java, is comming out with a cell phone. maybe they wanted mad loot to licence a java VM to all windows mobile phone users. non payd up so they said they make their own phone cause java seems to be the leader amoung most other phones. possible?

is the opera site down for anyone? i cant seem to get it to load on either my computer or my 6700
