Incoming Calls

Hi i did the hack to speed up the phone ringer response and it works great but when the phone is sleep and i get a call it dont ring or it will for a second than the ansewering machine picks up is it some thing i did wrong or is it the hack any help please thanks
ps i am with sprint and have wm6 ppc 6700 installed thanks

Is your ringtone on your storage card?
If it is that may be your delay.

close to what I was going to ask, I was going to ask if he had a card installed at all. even if it is an app that needs to load something (anything) it will do the delay just as GA Medic says.
