Hi there, i have recent upgraded my phone using this upgrade, I have a sprint PPC-6700. It works well with the exception of a few things, and I may have missed them here, but to be certain I'd really like if someone could help me.

2) I had to manually input my sprint data connection thing (#777) as opposed to having it auto connect, so everytime I go to use something, I get that screen that asks me to put in a password everytime (Is there any way to get past that?)

If anyone could help with any of these problems, I'd be extremely grateful.

when u do that, what do u put in for username and password and domain?

Edit: I did A hard Reset, working good now.

Thanks

No it doesn't. Roms distributed on ppcgeeks are not supposed to include any Palm-derived threader, though exceptions have sneaked through in the past.

Contacts will not work

Some one please help:
I just upgraded to Rob Mayer's WM6. The only problem is my contacts do not open. When I click the button it seems to do something then it closes immediately. I installed PocketCM just to see if it helped and it lets me view the contacts for like 5 seconds and just closes again. Someone please HELP ME!!!!

EDIT: Ok nevermind I fixed the problem. It was due to not hard restarting after the update, instead I accidentally did a soft restart. In order to fix this I had to do a hard restart, hit Y, then do a soft reset after putting in the time format during the loading period. Unfortunately I had to manually put in all of my contacts :(

Thanks for making and sharing this with us.

Are there any plans to include an HTC Home Customizer or does anyone have a link to a .cab that works with this ROM?

I have one, but I'm prompted to download HTC Home and it doesn't work regardless of what I do.

Thanks in advance.

I just want to say that this rom is incredible

I want to say I've been using Rob's latest rom on my HTC Apache/PPC-6700 for 2 months now and it has worked 100% rock solid. Rob's rom is 100x better than any rom sprint has released and has stopped me from considering getting a PPC 6800 Mogul (until EVDO rev A and built in GPS firmware comes out for it at least ;-) )

I just hope that when I finally have to upgrade from my PPC-6700, that Rob will be able to work on the PPC-6800. Otherwise, I might just have to stay with my PPC-6700 forever since Rob has made this so amazingly stable and productive.

Thank you again Rob for this rom. You have brought all PPC 6700 owners to state of the art and have maximized this phone to its full potential! Sprint QA needs to take lessons from you on how to make a stable rom.

Hehe - looks like you have a new cult member, Rob!

I hate to burst your bubble, davedude, but the state of the art and stability accolades are 99% helmi_c's work. The remaining 1% is due to a bunch of other people, of which Rob is but one of.

If you really want to maximize your phone to it's full potential, try the kitchen. It's hard to beat a custom ROM designed just for You.

Hey everyone, Using Rob's wm6 rom on my 6700, just wondering if there is an absolute stock wm6 rom available without the htc home plugin, windows live etc pre-installed.
