awesome job!

Thanks for all the work on this, my 6700 now has more functionality than my 6800! One question, in the extended rom where is the cab for the arcsoft mms composer? I want to extrract it and run it on the 6800 (the 3.0.6.22 version does not work for me!)

Thanks again!

fabrijack, you're saying the stock HTC camera app is not included?

yea, i also use coolcamera, but it has its tradeoffs with the stock app. I can't always get it to work right...

Rob, I'd like to see the latest HTC camera app as part of the ROM, don't know why it was not included as it seems "stock"

I kinda agree with what aguaron said in post 349. Clean is what lots of people like. While we value the fact you put in some apps, a lot of us just want a rom with no "extra software" even if it does not use up any of "our" program space as luv2chill indicated

I think your reg hack and tweaks are welcome and desired. We NEED those enhacements

VOIP support, working arrows for data connection, "documents" shortcut, vista sounds, all those things are great and i want them

But I for example won't touch GSFinder+ as I love resco, so for me and others it could be a waste (not of program space), but yea we could always delete the shortcut, but why have to if its not there in the first place...

I might wait until B7.1 also, but I'd like to hear what others say also...

Thanks for the htc camera cab. It installs on the phone but doesn't install shortcuts anywhere. The only way I can find to open it is go thru the album and click on the camera button at the bottom left. Can anyone tell me where to look for the start file and how to create a shortcut in my programs folder?
thank you all for being patient with a newbie!!
Jack

The HTC Camera app is there, although I did forget to put it in the programs folder I believe it is linked to the camera button on the bottom right.

I found it in the programs folder under windows. How do I add the shortcut to a visible menu somewhere? I've tried copying and pasting the shortcut in the windows folder but the system doesn't recognize it. Thanks for all your great work. I'm really enjoying playing around with the new os. puts new life in my device!

I have another question if ya'll don't mind. How do I re-lock the extended rom? My device names it extended rom but treats it as a storage card. I have a problem with my email and now the camera wanting to save to it instead of my actual storage card.
