awesome job!
Thanks for all the work on this, my 6700 now has more functionality than my 6800! One question, in the extended rom where is the cab for the arcsoft mms composer? I want to extrract it and run it on the 6800 (the 3.0.6.22 version does not work for me!)
Thanks again! |

Thanks for the htc camera cab. It installs on the phone but doesn't install shortcuts anywhere. The only way I can find to open it is go thru the album and click on the camera button at the bottom left. Can anyone tell me where to look for the start file and how to create a shortcut in my programs folder?
thank you all for being patient with a newbie!! Jack |

I found it in the programs folder under windows. How do I add the shortcut to a visible menu somewhere? I've tried copying and pasting the shortcut in the windows folder but the system doesn't recognize it. Thanks for all your great work. I'm really enjoying playing around with the new os. puts new life in my device!

I have another question if ya'll don't mind. How do I re-lock the extended rom? My device names it extended rom but treats it as a storage card. I have a problem with my email and now the camera wanting to save to it instead of my actual storage card.

fabrijack,
i did the below to rehide the extended rom, you need to do this also: this was posted somewhere else but i forgot where "After you installed all the programs that you want to install to your ExtendedRom, you have to hide the ExtendedRom as "HKLM/System/StorageManager/Profiles/TRUEFFS_DOC1/MountHidden to 1. Then, you will not see the ExtendedRom but you can type "/Extended_ROM2" in the address bar and reach it. After you hide the ExtendedRom, the email attachment will be saved to the Storage Card" |

thanks so much. I will try that. I found the camera button in the windows/application buttons and copied it to windows/start menu/programs and it showed up everywhere I needed it.
