Kreigz, I am using resco explorer to transfer stuff to my apache. on my desktop computer I I right click and then click on "send to my phone via resco", i have been able to send fairly large, like 50MB video files to my apache. I was connected via USB with the advanced box checked.

It usually works for me, too. But with the box unchecked, large file transfers will choke and hang about half way through. In fact, the whole connection chokes. To get the phone to sync again I have to soft reset.

BTW, the large file transfer are usually do to syncing with Windows Media Player on my Media Center computer - music and tv shows.

yea, i also want to see this as a seperate upgrade, and NOT part of the ROM

I've seen a bunch of posts where there have been some "inconsistencies" with the 1.43 on Sprint. I think Rob was even having some issues with 1.43 on Verizon ( i think that's his carrier) but then they seemed to have cleared up. I'm on the phone almost all day long and use it primarily as a phone so I don't want the radio messing me up.

*** Update on battery drain... I think it may have something to do with the volume tweak i have in an earlier post. I'm going to set it back down again and see if it still happens. Although funny thing.. I'm using bluetooth most of the time, so I'm not sure why it would drain with the higher physical speaker volume on the phone... Not logical. But the logic will come to me shortly.

Hey Rob, works great and just want to say THANKS.

Go Rob!!

Been waiting on WM6 for sprint P/M.
Also would like to see the Radio separate, as I've noticed issues and rely on my phone 24/7.
Hope I could help the process / access (isp) :b

still using kirvin's 3.5, it was kirvins 3.3 aku that finally made me get the phone. Kirvin if your still out there, I've got a much belated donation for ya!!

Installed this on my xv6700 and I could not believe how stable and fast it became.=D> I was getting close to going back to verizon and getting a treo. One thing though after using the rom for a few days I am starting to have trouble installing apps and copying files using ActiveSynch (have 4.5 installed).:( I can copy files no problem using WM5torage.

I'm loving the work you're doing on this. I have two questions:

1) Is the MSVC fix going to also install MSVC if i dont already have it? I'm having trouble getting it to work.

2) I understand the concept that this is a No Junk version :) Is there a possibility of having a few more compatible links on your site to voice speed dial, MMS apps (since you have removed it) and so on? Thanks!

Is there a way to install the clean rom to my xv6700 using vista?

robmayer 11-04-2007 05:43 PM

Hey,

I'm on my pda right now(using build 6 btw) so I am unable to answer questions as of now. I will when I get home. Anyway, I am posting to let you all know build 6 is steadily on its way. MMS is back in Verizon and Sprint and I also put voice dialer back. I upgraded to the newest version of Windows Live in this build and also fixed the issue where Windows Live was not appearing in outlook for email. Now that I have Windows Live out of the way(had to build a new oem package) things should go quicker. I hope to release it tomorrow. Well, thats all for now. I'll answer questions a little later.
