I did the update on my Verizon 6700 and i must say that it is amazing. The difference in speed is impressive and it fixes i lot of bugs i had in the previous version.
I guess it also brings its share of problems too.

1) The wifi problem. Has there been any update for this issue ?

2) I use a 1-800 number to call overseas. In order to dial the whole sequence automatically, i save my contact with the 1-800 number + overseas number. It seems that it does not do the job anymore. Please note that i was using Pocket Informant 2007 before, but it doesn't seem to work with the wm6. I tried different options without success. I keep on getting a message that the call cannot be completed as dialed. Here's a sample of the format i was using so far.
18001234567pp01141121234567#
pp = 2 pauses to give time for the service to answer before it dials the international number.
# = is to tell that you are done dialing the number.

Thanks for your help.

Availability??

Any idea when this will be released again?

takmsdsm 11-02-2007 11:20 PM

With the release of the kitchen, this project is now dead. Updates can be slipstreamed into the kitchen, and i will leave it to the kitchen builders for now. It was a nice idea while it lasted
