Issue still with installing my wm6 rom

I followed the instructions to install Helmi's rom onto my ppc-6700 and according the the steps i was suppose to take activesync should have been connected prior to the upgrade. So thats what i did. i was connected and i ran the Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2) program. I got as far as the activesnyc being shutdown and the phone went into the Serial/v2.02 blackened screen. Next the program tried to update my phone and an error 101 came up which is a connect problem. My phone i believe has been flashed so i cannot Hard reset wm5 gone. So since then I cannot find a way to get windows to see my phone. Unknown device comes up on three pc's running xp. I searched the posts and threads and nothing seems to work. It seems like i need a driver specific to this phone in order for me to flash the wm6 rom.
Need Help Thanks

Did you try to hard reset or just assume that your phone cannot be hard reset at this point. If you did and the phone still shows serial at the top then you are stuck in bootloader. To fix this click the link below and follow the instructions.

Once the phone reboots, place phn in bootloader to flash the wm6 rom.

Shouldn't need a driver. Try this:
- unplug phone
- uninstall any reference to it in DEVICE MANAGER
- put phone in BOOT LOADER mode
- connect phone to PC

At this point, the PC should detect it and install the drivers from Windows.

Smile To Gervy and Naigaboy

1st to Naigaboy yes I hard reset the phone and Choose "y" to restore Back to Factory Settings, Reboots and brings me back to the serial/2.02 screen Thats no problem If wm5 ain't there anymore what i want to do is to get my pc to recognize my phone and from there i should be able to run the update to wm6.

Gervy I opened the device manager and what should i see in there that would tell me that there is a reference to my phone? I also have the hidden items open in the manager.
Btw thank you guys for helping me!
