EDIT: Here are my current issues I notice

-Sometimes in a call, the phone totally freezes except for the call itself. I can hear the person and speak to them, but the timer and interface is 100% frozen. No choice but to soft reset. Happened a few times. Its possible this is related to something else, I will investigate, but wanted to mention it.

-I have a single text message from a friend that is bold still, after reading it. I cannot mark this message as read, I cannot move it, I cannot delete it. I just stays there looking new with no way to get rid of it. My today screen does say I have no unread messages though.

-My voicemail indicator has not gone away at all. Every soft reset, the phone pops up there is a new voicemail, when there is no new voicemail. The notification icon on the top stays, when I click it, it says I have one new voice mail, however like I said I do not.

yes, numerous posts on here for backup program like sprite backup. google it.

Verizon Guy - I did read the first post - here is my confusion:

...
7) When it starts booting up, do a hard reset by holding down the 2 soft keys (send/end) while putting the stylus in the hole.
8 ) Let it reboot, align screen, etc.
...

This sounds like we interrupt the boot process - like I did with the Helmi release. But in the post above, you say "Please read the first post of the thread--no." Maybe it will make sense when I do the process. Do we just not get a "countdown"?

Thanks for all your hard work,
-PH

This is most likely due to some non-compatible software you have installed. I am not running into this yet on any of my test apaches.

That's a database problem with your backed up files. If anyone else runs into this after doing a fresh install, let me know, but I don't think this is related to the rom.

My instructions tell you to do a hard reset while the phone is booting for the first time after flashing the rom. Helmi's instructions tell you to do a soft reset once the customization screen pops up. I'm simply telling you that you no longer have to interrupt customization >= devel3 as I've disabled it.

Just want to point out that this isn't a release version yet & is posted for testing purposes while working out the major issues. I don't want to be rude, but I'm not here for tech support :) Please post with any bugs or problems you notice, but other than that I don't have time to respond to each individual question. Feel free to post whatever you want as other users often have time to address issues that come up. Thanks :)

Thanks VG - your method of posting new versions to the first post is so logical it confused my poor simple mind. Wish all the developers followed your technique. Can't wait to install.

here here ! The way these builds are going so far i might not want to upgrade to a 6800 by the time verizon feels like releasing them. I'll keep posting anything up that I think may be a bug, since I pretty much keep my phone stock (with the exception of that battery bar, but I probabily won't be even installing that anymore...heh)

well i have to say Awesome work dude.

the only thing i notice, and thing could be on SPB stuff... is when i boot, i get a weird lag... like 30 seconds before i can do anything... dont know if it's spb or what... this is on dev2 tho... about to update... and the lag was WAY WORSE about 3 days ago... went in and a friendly tech swapped out my older 6700 .... thanks dude :-P haha anyways i'm gonna see if it does it withouth spb stuff installed and edit this post after the flash...

NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING HELMI'S ORIGINAL VERIZON WM6 ROM OR MY DEVEL1 EDITION, YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR ROM ASAP. There is a huge safety issue. The 911 functionality is completely broken in all verizon roms < devel2. If you dial 911, your phone will lock up.

I am using Helmi's original release of WM6 and 911 doesn't lock up my phone......
