If you post what you have tried already, you'll get better responses. Customizations running is usually the problem. What else have you installed on your ROM? who's your carrier? Is it a kitchen ROM or Rob's ROM? |
Dont know if it has been talked about, but I took the palm thread off the phone cause everyone was complaining about duplicate messages.
Even after i deleted my outbox and sent folder they would still get them. Wish it didnt, i hate the default text tool |

Okay - i've read through most of the thread - what happened to the links in the original post? Does anyone know why the moderator pulled them? Are they available anywhere?

As stated many times on this forum, Palm owns the app and has specifically requested that ppcgeeks not host it nor link to it. It's easy enough to find over on Treocentral.com or any number of other download sites by googling. |
Question about the Palm Threaded SMS 1.2s.
I am running a custom WM6 rom. I have two issues: 1. When I use the softkeyboard (currently have PCM Keyboard installed) it covers up the message area (the area that you type the new message into) so you can't see what your typing. Anyway to change this so that when I use the softkeyboard it will shrink the app window so I can see what I am typing? 2. When I open the threaded sms app, then click on a conversation, when I open up the hardkeyboard (the phone qwerty keyboard) and it switches to landscape mode, I covers up the last conversation. Any settings/reg hacks to change this? None of these issues is going to keep me for using the app (much better than the stock sms prog). Just wondering if anyone else has seen these issues. Thanks. PPCFreak,
Since Palm developed the app for their devices with fixed hard keyboard and fixed screen orientation, the two issues are something they wouldn't have planned for. I doubt there are any hacks to fix it but have never looked - I never realized before now that the app was virtually unusable with the soft keyboard. |

I'm pretty sure there is a registry setting to hide the keyboard when you slide open, I don't use it. If I start typing on my keyboard the soft board hides itself and it is fine. I do get annoyed with the portrait mode keyboard, but I rarely type with the stylus these days, so it doesn't bother me often.
