Is this suppose to have both the SMS and MMS working in the Palm Messaging App?

No. This is so verizon people can use the arcsoft program that comes with wm6. the earlier versions disable MMS recieving. Please review the last couple pages to get more info.

Strangely enough, this now delivers the MMS fully to the threaded APP. Whatever you did it works awesome for me!!

Thanks for all the work you've put into this, I love the app and really am enjoying my WM6 better with it there :-)

-EDIT-

I'm not able to send MMS from the Palm SMS, which again isn't a big deal. The real problem is that Arcsoft doesn't use the address book to send pics, so I have to type in the phone number manually, which sucks because I don't know anyone's number.

So if you have the inclination and the time to figure that one thing out it would be great. If you are onto bigger and better stuff then by all means forge onward :-)

Thanks again!

NICE! that is what i was hoping for actually, but didnt think it would work.

I need to make a couple more changes. I am going to set the dafault servers up for Verizon, because regardless, sprint people will get their MMS via SMS with a link.

I will be updating the first post soon

do me a favor, and change the MMS settings under Menu> Options>Advanced> Manual Edit. change all the sprint (mms.sprintpcs.com) info to verizon (found under your arcsoft settings, i cant remember what the server is...) info and see if that will allow sending. I doubt it will, but today has been a day of pleasant surprises so far.

Check first post for updates!!!

http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms

I entered it in the threaded app options, and also found it in the registry in one place. After replacing them and soft reseting I get the following from threaded:

Message could not be sent. An unspecified error (0x84) occured while sending this message. Originator address not found.

takmsdsm 10-05-2007 03:13 PM

yeah i got something similiar. oh well. arcsoft still for sending.

Hope everyone enjoys the new version :D
