If you came from Kirvin's ROM, he likely included a blank extended ROM in his package. Once the extended ROM has been flashed with a blank one, it will remain blank unless you intentionally flash it with a full one. The WM6 ROM exe does not include an extended ROM file, so you still have your blank one.

In short, you're fine :)

This version of WM6 does not have any type of voice command software preinstalled. You'll need to install Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 if you want voice dialing.

Thanks!

I can tell you that some of the tweaks that worked in WM5 definitely do not work in WM6, but some work just fine. Until they have been documented, it's a matter of trial and error. You might want to read up on the reg tweaks people have used on the Mogul (also WM6):

Thanks for the response, I tried the work around but it didn't work for me, I guess we'll have to wait for some other fix.

OK.
My phone is starting to get really buggy.
Are we going to get a new ROM or a Kitchen soon?
If not, I'll reflash and rebuild using this one, but nothing will tick me off more than doing that and then having something new come out the next day!](*,)

:violent2:

Y'all know that this is not a demand or knock on anyone... I'm just trying to save myself having to reflash more than once a week.

The only problem ive been having is the Wifi WPA TKIP problem, But the work around thats posted works.

Question: Does anyone that is using the WPA work around or anyone that uses the wifi at all find that the internet is slow on the PDA?
