You need to use the .msi to install on your laptop, then copy the kitchens and projects folders from your desktop to your laptop, finally, run the updater and update the buildos component as necessary.

if this has been answered already sorry.. i searched and found nothing.

i am running wm6.1 and the spb mobile shell. when ever i am in sms and wating on a text to come in, sms closes right when i get the text or if its open for more then about a minute. it shows in task man so its still open but it goes to the back ground. it does this with out the sbp mobile shell as well. is there a setting that is causing this or what?

Thanks for the info. now i can roll back to WM6 and run my apps safely. I would like the previous kitchen updated to work with the newer OEM & Shareware modules. I would have pulled out the duplicates myself, but the kitchen file is protected. Many OEM's were moved from the main kitchen to the OEM rar and there are tons of duplicates if I try to use them together. To get it to work, I have the OEM file from each kitchen being referenced . Since the new BuildOS intent is to be a one-stop-shop for rom building, it would be nice if the WM5/6 kitchens were brought up to speed.

I cannot get wm 6.1 to flash for the life of me...I flashed my 6700 to wm6 a few months ago, and i want to upgrade now, but for some reason i get all the way to the end of the RUU and it says error 150: wrong upgrade for this phone, so i do not understand what i am doing wrong...I put bootloader to 2.02 like my phone has, NoID and sprint for my carrier and still nothing working yet...
Any Ideas?

you are putting your phone in bootloader mode before the flash, right?

i just ran updater and received all the latest updates,ran latest build.os and now i cannot get pass the login phase... i use the password and login i've been using all along and get the fail 1 message with the date and time info with 1/1/08 also viewed in the same error bubble. any suggestions? it looks like i need my prior build os to revert to where i was before the update...this sukks!

updated: i used the pass/username hemli in both fields and got access... is this the only way to logon?

i keep making a rom and it never works for me is there a help file thats more up to date?

No. You ran an old version of buildos before doing the update, and that made an invalid account for the updated buildos. I've deleted the bad account. Are you sure you completed all the updates?

Where did you ever get hemli from?
