Ok, I love this stuff. But, now I'm stuck and not sure what to do. When I run the .exe, it says 'Boot Splash Directory SplashImages\480x640 does not exist' and the proceeds to bring up the same error window for all of the rest of the things that are supposed to be loaded. Then it brings up another window that says "C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\BuildOS config.txt found BuildOSConfigVersion=.09.08, but BuildOS needs SelectionsVersion=.90.04. Any advice? I've ran the updater to see if that would fix. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You opened the configuration file, instead of a selections file. You probably didn't download the apache kitchen?

Find LennySh in the chat room. Maybe he can help you.

Just an idea (or maybe it can be done now) but it would be great if you could choose that apps install on the storage card instead of main memory.

GGuru, the latest build of kitchen ran alot faster for me.

Greloc, actually poped with the S000 error as soon as it started running the app, instead of stalling like it did.

ended up building a rom without it.

unfortunatly, it seems like audio man was still broke :(

Excelent work, as allways :)

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

I ran a search in this and the BuildOS bug report thread and found nothing so I'm going to post my request for help.

When I try and open Live Search or HHC I get the following message:

The file 'Live Search' (or HHC) cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate , or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

I tried installing from a .cab file, but that didn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

Has anyone worked out if HTC Task Manager 2.0.31261.1 is working, as I have tried a couple of times and no luck. The X that is usually on the Today screen is not there and I can't seem to find where to manually run it from. It does load if I also select O2 Plus and then shut O2 Plus down?

That kinda goes against the whole idea of building a ROM.

Nope. But I assumed that's over a port that's blocked.
I know port 80 (http) should be wide open for my network zone (it's only monitored, not filtered).

Still getting that error though as if I'm not reaching.

Guess I'll stick to connecting through my phone when @ work when I start BuildOS.
That is until the IT guys get off their *** and put me in the DMZ (which they agreed to do... eventually).
