Hi everyone, I've just flashed my sprint ppc6700 with wm6.1 from wm5. This is my first time doing this. Everything seemed to work flawlessly in the Kitchen, etc. Seems like most everything works on the device, except the wireless stereo. I have the Moto S9 headset and it syncs but plays music choppy and quits. Phone part works ok. Also, while in the kitchen I selectd lots of things that sounded like I might want to try...for example battery meter...additional ringers, etc, etc. How do I access those new things? It looks like I have just a basic download at present? I'm sure there is something simple that I've missed. Any help will be most appreciated.

Extra ringtones should be available under the phone or sounds settings where you select the sound you want as your ringtone. Any programs should be listed under Programs. Some things may be under one of the settings tabs as well.

thanks for your reply. Maybe I'm just expecting to much. The ring tones available were pretty weak. Also was expecting to be able to customize the Today screen....mine looks nothing like the pic in this forum. Other than flashing the ROM, there is nothing else I'm supposed to do to install the optional OEM stuff? I also noticed that Word, Excel etc. is missing now? Any ideas on that? thanks again.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen back to the future?

I am hampered by not having access to the "original" WM 6.0 threaded SMS program. It does not appear that I can "downgrade" from 6.1 to 6.0 from the latest kitchen. Although the threaded SMS with 6.1 is better than native 6.0, there are times when my sms messages go though, and times that they don't (without warning or bounce back). Smiley's are gone :(. Lengthy text messages are chopped instead of spanned to another text message. And, I cannot reliably send sms to pagers. I think the development team has done a fantastic job...but, I just want to go back to the way things were in 6.0. Any suggestions? I can't find the old installation files for the PPCKitchen and only have an option for WM 6.1 in the application.
Thank you,
MG

The home screen in the first post has the HTC Home plugin and a custom clock font and possibly icons installed. For office apps, make sure that you include them in the ROM configuration. Anything that is checked in the kitchen config will be built into the rom for you and then flashed to your phone when the rom is done building.

ok...I've tried the kitchen again....seems like it is not updating with any of the actual files that I need to cook a ROM of my choice. It is giving me error messages for all the missing optional softwares when first opened. I've tried uninstalling the kitchen and updating again, but it is not updating. I've tried cleaning out the cookies, etc. but for some reason it seems the updater files stay on my cpu. Again, any help is much appreciated.

NAvigate to c:\program files\ppckitchen.org\buildos\updater.
Delete sections_buildos.xml.
Run updater.
Download one or more Titan kitchens
