And this is for the phone right? cause my machine has
all three of the .net versions with patches.

It should be for your PC on which the kitchen is installed. Ok now I am at a loss. Anyone more informed got a better answer?

yes, I place the phone in bootloader mode, and as I said above, the ROM is compiled, attempts to flash, and then immediately says "finished". without ever flashing the phone.
I soft reset the phone, it boots back up, no problem (in factory spec).

I would try reinstalling 2.0. Maybe something got corupted. I have never seen this problem, although I never upgraded my bootloader either. I do know at one point there was an issue with WM6 and the new bootloader. What OS are you running on the computer?

Mechanized 12-19-2007 03:01 PM

Th os is XP Pro 32-bit All service packs and available updates.

Where do I download .Net 2.0 for the phone (?) - Is there a specific version
of .Net 2.0 that is already provisioned for this specific process?

This is not a .Net issue.

What bootloader do you have? ah - I see you have 2.05. Try flashing a minimal ROM and see what happens.

He has 2.05 I believe.

If you mean minimal, as in, just a little something for filler, and flash, I'm tracking -

And again - it did not work. Can I possibly downgrade this bootloader?
Is it hemmi'n me up?

gguruusa 12-19-2007 06:02 PM

You can downgrade, there's a thread in the parent forum on downgrading. My understanding is that you shouldn't have to, however.

I assume you have Activesync 4.5 or later.

There's one more thing to try...get the official verizon upgrade, extract the nk.nbh from it, put that in the ruu folder, and try running the ruu directly. If that flashes, then try again from the kitchen, but run the ruu manually (you'll have to do it the automatic way first, then try it manually).

allright - i'm pretty sure that i got it right the first time, i'm a pretty
apt tech. Buuuut - I want to second guess myself, just-in-case. (for fun!)
Could I have possibly downloaded the wrong kitchen and OS?
Can someone link me the correct kitchen and patched OS? I just
want to be absolutely sure i'm using the right versions. Then i'll be
more than ready to pretend i'm doing something work related tomorrow,
downgrading my boot loader.
