I'm a little confused on this part: Insert your phone number under the appropriate phone entry for HKLM\Software]Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\Wspheader.
I got:
"X-VzW-MDN"="0000000000"
"X-Alltel-MDN"="0000000000"

I have Sprint, and do I create an entry for Sprint followed by my phone ##?

Sprint does not use a number so no you do not need to do anything there.

Ok I just tried the latest OEM of this, (I'm using a 6700 w/ WM6 on Sprint) But it's not letting me send a message out, it'll try and send but the message stays in the outbox. There is no error codes or anything like that, I'll try and get some more information for you in a bit.

Did you change the domain info? I had another Sprint user who did not do this and was not able to send out. Check that first. Second sync your phone and then send me the contents of your MMS Log and MMS UA directory, along with the reg dump I ask for.

Thanks,
Steve

Hey Spetrillo,

I'm not really ready for a hard reset right now, so I can't test this OEM out. I have been using an ArcSoft 4.2 OEM for Cricket in the 6800 kitchen, though, and your Cricket settings look correct. Nice work on using port 8080, too; that's a setting that gets overlooked often.

Thanks very much for the feedback on Cricket. When you are ready please give it a go and let me know how it functions. It would be nice to open this to as many carriers as possible.

Thanks,
Steve

Its the hack that allows mms on the sprint touch, mogul, and treowx. I noticed that after it installed the arcsoft software was on my device. I was just wondering if this is the new version of that software and are there pros/cons to upgrading to the newer software.

Thanks for your input.

If you could post it here I would be happy to look at it and see what it does vs the OEM.

Thanks,
Steve
