3 things for me...
1. the send key is a soft key
2. you can reply with SMS and not an MMS
3. After it downloads/sends, it automatically disconnects from the data connection

This is actually the thread from which I got the original OEM. It still has extraneous settings, which I am trying to remove in my updated OEM with some luck. I can remove the sample settings but cannot understand how the Default settings are being created along with the Verizon settings. I also would like to know if Sprint users would find benefit of this app, and if so pass the Sprint settings to me for inclusion in the final OEM.

Thanks,
Steve

Send key should be customizable via the Smartskey or SoftKey app.

I am looking into the other two but not sure how to do that at this time. Please stay tuned.

Sprint MMS Settings

Does anyone have the Sprint MMS settings that could be incorporated into the OEM. I finally have gotten a fully functional Verizon OEM for 4.2.8.1. Are there any carriers that people would like included? I would be happy to do the software setup work but would need volunteers to test the different carriers.

True, but maybe he has managed to get the settings in to the program with out having to do reg hacks after install.

For Verizon that is exactly what I have been able to do. I wanted to open this up to other carriers now that I understand exactly what needs to be done.

I believe the other functional OEM makes you enter the VZW information after the fact. I have included it in the OEM, and it installs perfectly.

This would be something I would be interested in.

I asked this same question in another forum and was ignored.

Hope you get the info and can build a Sprint OEM for this.
