Can you explain how to dump your reg? I use Resco. Thanks!

Resco will have an export registry function. Export the dump to a folder on your storage card and copy to your PC. it will end up as a .reg file. Take the dump and your UA folder and zip them up. just did it myself using MemMaid. Send them to Steve, not me. He's the brains that hopefully will sort this out.

Send to:

Thanks go out to you Steve, and best of luck to solving this.

Can someone please tell me how MMS is supposed to present itself?

Is it set up in messages or through the camera?

I have cooked the latest version in my rom but I do not have all of the entries in the reg that others are talking about and changing.

Thanks for any help.

If you have installed the Arcsoft MMS they should be there.
For the UA contents, look for the UA folder in MyPPC/My Documents/UA Contents. There should be a UA Log folder there. That's the one you need, along with the registry export.

Guitardoc, I have installed the Arcsoft MMS but I can only see it in the registry. When I pull up Messaging, I only get my Sprint account. Should there be an MMS account to set up? If not there where do I go to set up the MMS account.

When I look in the registry, I find the various entries for the program but nothing about the server to change and the other items people have been working on in the registry.

The question is twofold, first if it is on the phone, as it should be, then how would I set it up in the OS so I could use it and a sub question of that is how do you use it.

Second, do I have to create the entries in the registry that people are talking about in this thread or are they created when the MMS is properly setup?

Thanks

It should show up under messaging as pix/video. I have noticed that it has disappeared from the selections after a failed attempt to send, but reappears after a soft-reset. That may be the problem for you, but I'm also thinking that there might have been an error in the build. It should be ready to go in the build. When it was working, it didn't need to be set up or anything, it was already there.

This is all kind of a moot point since it's not working right now, and there's no way for you to test it.

Can I get this in .cab form?

friguy3 02-12-2008 06:27 AM

as far as i know you cannot install mms via a cab, must be installed when you flash in the rom...you can try though if you can find it, its out there

Curious if any sprint users are able to use mms with their SMART PHONE?
And if thise program will work?
Thanks
