I think gizmo is proprietary too. The easy way to tell is if they publish in their FAQ section directions for setting up your SIP client. If they don't do that, you're out of luck for WM6 built-in VOIP support.
Many of the proprietary VOIP vendors offer their own PPC client. Nothing wrong with using that and WM6 - it might even be better.
