AD2P with mono BT headset

Is it possible to get the audio piped to a traditional single ear (mono) Bluetooth headset used for phone calls? i.e. the Jawbone

The Apache has a crappy back speaker for media playback and I want to play music to my Jawbone.

I have the Helmi 6.1 kitchen.

Everywhere i read it says you need stereo BT headsets. But surely there must be a hack to make WM6.1 "think" I'm using a stereo headset.

suggestions?
