Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here
Hi,
I am behind a corp firewall, when I run the program it doesn't run because it's trying to connect to a cox.net address for a database...? Is this normal?? And how do I use this from behind the firewall?? Thx |

Quote:
The normal route is via a html request that occurs after the database connection fails. This should work even in a coporate environment. If you would like to help debug connection issues with firewalls, please find me in the chat room, or send me an e-mail (this will make the debugging extremely slow, however) Last edited by gguruusa; 03-20-2008 at 11:51 PM. |

Re: Re-Direction of Temp Area
It was allowed at one time, but Vista rights management interfered. Now it's relative to the user store. Some of the developers would like it moveable as well, so you'll likely see this feature return in a future release.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here
The easiest and best way, when it works, is to use the updater. Manually, you can comnare file sizes against those on ppckitchen.org, and for buildos, you can usually check the date under the chef icon on the about page. |
