Working toward a functional 6700 using a Vista PC and i have updated everything it lets me download in the ppckitchen updater

You are using an older kitchen that has not been updated yet. You can get an updated helmi kitchen from http://ppckitchen.org/Downloads. I'll get it added to updater today.

I have a 6700 and wonder what the heck all these things are when I read the posts. What should I look to for basic understanding of upgrades etc.
Do I have to get my girl to post NooDiE pix to get real answers? Don't go to my link if you don't want to see her!

I've been trying to cook my own rom but I keep getting the following error:
wmain: (RGUComp) !ERROR failed building DEFAULT hives
Anyone know what that is from and how to get my build to continue past this point?

You have put a busted oem in user_oem (or other debris).

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Thanks guys, I believe guru is right. After I posted my question I removed OEMizer from my rom and it built fine. However now when I go to flash my xv6800 it goes to the gray screen with the progress bar, hangs, then says I have a communication error, at which point my laptop(XP) says that their is a malfunction with a USB device and shows my PPC as disconnected. I'm only doing it this way because I don't have a 2gb Micro SD to work with. I've noticed any time I've had my phone connected via USB and then went into bootloader mode, it disconnects. I assumed that was normal, is it?
