Also the MMS package does work fine for me - if yours doesn't work I think I know why, PM me if you are using a twinky sms.

Which ppcgeeks_oem? The one on page one of this thread. Or on FTP Kitchen section or the REV 3 copy?

Is there a new version coming soon?

Say with Microsoft live, what is the advantage of loading as a rom with the kitchen as opposed to just downloading it?

Thanks so much

Page 1 of the kitchen thread always has the current one. I don't know anything about the other 2.

Yes, there is a new version coming out. Isn't there always a new version coming out?

If it's a halfway decent OEM, you'll save program memory by burning it into the ROM. Program memory is where things you download get installed.

this is not a big but a feature request??

I have never used any sort of software like this, and am very much a n00bie :) !! So if the question seems obvious or stupid - please don't be harsh...

Basically, I just downloaded the BuildOS and tried to create my own ROM. After select a few (read as:: ALOT) choices, I went on to click on Create Rom. Of course when it was building, the program stopped as it realized that the size was larger than the max allowed ROM size.

I was thinking - wouldn't it make be helpful if there was a size next to each "selection" and also have a memory at the bottom that shows how much we have used and how much is left - some sort of BAR that displays this would be easiest to read. Just an idea that I am throwing out !!

**In case someone already mentioned this and I guess I must have somehow missed it; I apologize and I second his/her notion :).

I posted a list by size of the OEMs in the latest version at
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=11971&page=30 post 295.

I have updated to the 12/17 rev and when I right-click on a module and choose "OEM Info" I get an unhandled exception alert box instead of the usual info. I've attached a screen shot of the alert box.

I get the same error. It also has an error when selecting bootscreens if they are not the .nb file type. Everything else seems to work, but I won't know more till I test flash on the guinea pig 6700.

Which OEM were you right clicking on? (looks like 2 different ones?)
