I would like to state that I never had a problem flashing or using any build I came up with. I can see that some of the 3rd party apps aren't as stable as MS or HTC ones but that has nothing to do with the kitchen.

I had a question about the look of the camera. I got the GF a 6800 and when you use the camera it has the same GUI look/feel as the HTC camera album. I noticed that the camera interface on my 6700 is still the same, is there anything I can do to make the camera like the 6800 interface?

Once again thanks for the great work.

No, the camera app is tied somewhat to the camera driver, which is model-specific. We have tried to bring over newer versions of the Camera app and they don't work on the Apache.

I kinda had that hunch but thanks for confirming, and all your work on this project.

I agree. I find this "dog" offensive. By my count, this is at least strike 3. Hey Ump, how about calling this guy out?

Another question I tried to search for and failed. With the voice command set to announce incoming calls via BT, my mp3 ring-tone plays through MY BT ear-piece and not on my phone speaker, is this normal?

Yes it is, and is unavoidable. The phone doesn't have the ability to send sound to two different places at the same time (much less send one sound one place and another sound somewhere else). So you can either have it all go to the headset or it all go to the speaker--there's no in between.

Some people set their phone to ring and vibrate so at least the phone will make some noise even when the sound goes to the headset... or get a headset you can easily turn off and on (like the Moto H700).

Yes, that's normal. Voice Command grabs the audio during an incoming call and feeds that to BT, inserting the caller ID at the same time. You'd hear the same thing on speakerphone if you unchecked the bluetooth option.

Is this why while I'm in a call, I hear ringtones, reminders and notifications through my BT headset?

Ditto here. famlydog has contributed nothing of use, and it's posts are offensive. I think it's time to put the "bad dog" down.

I love my 6700 now!!! THE KITCHEN ROCKS !!!

There has been some updates on apps such as htc home, sprint tv, slide to unlock, etc. Is there an update coming that incorperates these updates and new found apps and tweeks? Nothing has changest since11/17, correct?

Again, I love the work you all are doing !! My wife now thinks I am the biggest geek though
