The attachement is there ... any ideas?

It depends on your carrier. Check the announcement regarding MMS that Pibe38 posted. I had non-functional MMS until I edited. Now it works.

What carrier? What type of file (pic, vid? do you know the actual file type?)

Thanks **successful ROM flash** Thanks again!

Earlier posting I read that the "native crossbow" dialer skin is a defalt + there were others in the kitchen, and that one can also be selected.
Where are the phone dialer skins located?

Currently using 20071108

Unfortunately Microsoft didn't design the phone skin to be easily changable. As it is now you can select one phone skin in BuildOS (look in the "Phone" group) and you can toggle back and forth between that and the native skin by changing a registry entry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin]
"Enabled"=dword:1

Changing that to a 0 will disable the custom "skin" and put the crossbow dialer up.

It's not that it's not connecting, it does and downloads the message, it's just when playing it the MMS window has nothing but white in it. You can see the slider move across as if it's playing it, but just white in the window.

Carrier is Verizon and every seems to work fine, just no image in the window. I don't think it's DNS or server related.

I assume you are talking about a MMS video. Can you please confirm that? And do you know the type of video file that was sent?

Can you try sending a pic (as opposed to a vid) to yourself to make sure that works? See also if you can shoot a vid in a different format and see if that works.

Yeah, MMS. The original was from my wife's LG Chocolate ... worked before with the Verzion stock ROM and Helmi's first release. The file type she sent me was *.3gp and was 212K.

I did try sending one to myself; it was file type *.3gp was well and 225K.

In both cases the player screen is white. I've attached a screen shot.

Try sending a still photo instead of a video and see if that part works.

I assume you are using the version of MMS included with the kitchen (3.0.26.11c)--right?

Yes, I added the MMS app yesterday morning when I did my third ROM (getting to be quite a hobby).

I tried sending a pic ... worked fine. The same MMS player is used as the app, the slider bar moves across, and the still pic shows.

I guess it's a video problem of some sort ... next test sensai?

Phone Dialer Skin Selection

I only see one selectable option in the "Phone" group titled "SIM Toolkit". From what I've read there are supposed to be multiple phone skins options that can be selected (one per build). Am I looking in the wrong place, or do I need to load it from somewhere else?
