Is .05 coming soon? I mean soon as in tomorrow? I'd like to go ahead and upgrade to WM6 (I've been waiting on the kitchen) but I'll feel stupid to flash then reinstall everything only to reflash in a week.

Guy: the problem with helmi's missing the icons and other issues you had was that you LET THE EXTROM install DON'T DO THAT with a rom CUSTOM made for your carrier

Anyone else having trouble with the text messaging not predicting names when you type them in to the send field? I'm using v4.

Was that the sprint customization that started after i completed the ROM update and booted the first time?

I noticed that it didn't do that on this Kitchen version.

Good to know, I figured I needed the extra Sprint stuff for the phone to work.

too much lillte bugs here and there causing problems, going back to helmi's original WM6 ROM until bugs are worked out.

I just flashed to the .4 kitchen and at first everything was great, but after doing a few sw installs and customizing (speed tweaks, etc) it now seems to have a problem soft resetting. It doesn't matter if I use the software version or the hard button, either way it seems to lock up at the Windows logo screen before the today screen. Luckily I found a quick solution, if I plug in the usb cable to my PC and reset again it boots fine.

Very strange...Any thoughts?

I just developed a vision problem this weekend, where I've lost a lot of vision in one of my eyes all of a sudden...I'm going through lots of tests to confirm the diagnosis. The disease can be temporary or permanent, so to give my eyes a rest I'm limiting my computer time so 0.4 will be the current version for a bit.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I wish you the best of luck with it and hopefully the Doctors can do something. Get some rest for sure, you've been cranking out revisions faster than I can download!

The installed SDHC file don't allow me to see the full 6GB card. I tried to install v-guys SDHC cab, but it wouldn't work. I installed http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=13 that cab and it worked without any problem.

Just and FYI. I haven't check it with my 2GB card yet. Ill play with it tonight.

It will work with BL 2.05
 

I had reported problems with this elsewhere in the thread, but I have since been able to build roms with the first rev of the kitchen that will work. I was getting the WSoD's when I chose certain options, but I was able to play around and got it to work. I haven't had enough time to narrow it down. There was another thread that mentioned zero-length dsm files that would cause it, but I haven't verified that. I've downloaded the 0.4 kitchen but haven't tried building/running with a rom from it yet. Oh and when createrom asks which flash version to use, I pick option 3 for the 2.04 BL.
