WP7 Custom tile theme maker....very cool looking

A custom theme maker for WP7.... Must be at least dev unlocked to use...

Themes for Windows Phone, first release - Windows Phone Hacker

You can use any background image you want (well, within size for your tiles). Or you can make a custom look for your tiles.

Only flaw but, a MAJOR one, it's a image that goes over the tiles, so live tiles dont work at this point. So your tiles will not update, no voice mail, no email, no missed calls...

Too bad, I wont use it with out live tile support...isn't that the point of WP7 ?

Still cool... I could see some great possablities with this if they find a way around the tiles updating...

Oh bummer, I was psyched about trying this out, but I agree... no way I'll try this if it breaks live tiles.

All I want is an option to use darker tile colors... like a grey or navy blue or maroon/burgundy.

Agreed. Noticed this story as well and was going to post it. Thanks David! I look at this as a big step forward for w7. The ability to customize the interface at some level is huge. Frankly with a refined and stable system which by most accounts w7 is, along with some custom UI's should go along way!

Please try to refrain from taking shots at something so new and will get much better over time

he also hates sprint, perfect answer though or he could quit trolling? look how many posts i have in iphony forum, none cause i dont like them so i dont post in the forum.
