Nope,

If you know anything about Cotulla then you know it's not fake.

He single handedly wrote a custom bootloader for the HD2, ported WP7 to the HD2 with 99% of stuff working, wrote HSPL for the HD2 (multiple versions), wrote a custom bootloader for the TP2, and successfully got the Android kernel working on a snapdragon device (that didn't ship with Android).

The screenshot of the the RSPL hack on the HD7 is real. Once you hack the bootloader of a WP7 device, porting Android isn't that hard, especially since it has almost identical hardware to the HD2.

I wouldn't be surprised to see WP7 devices dual-booting Android soon.

I, like Eric, thought there was some questioning on how real it was. If it was running, was it dual booting or was it only running Android ? I guess time will tell when something is released.

Oh, I want 6.5 and WP7 :)

For the moment just flashed to NAND via RSPL,

I think he is fixing MAGLDR to be a universal bootloader for all devices.

We all thought the HD2 running WP7 video was fake too...


But enough of that, the point is that I do think dual-booting will happen soon, probably after official Mango release.

And yeah, can't wait for official Mango RTM!

I installed it so I could run that backup tool, and everytime I tried to run the update it would say "UpdateWP.exe has stopped responding...".

Whats the error, can some one help me...

It's so easy, a "vodka drunken caveman" could do it. Too bad I can't enjoy the spoils 'til tomorrow but thanks to you, @eric12341, @dtrush, and @GoodThings2Life, @esqueue, and others I've missed I'm now "Mango'd"

All I got is WOW. Side note..I do like now that keyboard finally has function while on the web. up/down arrows now scroll and back arrow button works.

Uninstall the UpdateWP utility, reinstall Zune, reboot, run Zune once (including syncing your phone), then reinstall UpdateWP... had the same issue until I did that.
