can u walk me through the contact sync as exchange with the hotmail account? i tried doing it and it failed to sync my contacts i guess im doing something wrong? im on the htc imagio i just went to active sync and went from there but it failed

Nice little review, just wish there was a little more detail about facebook (anyone know of a good, NON MANGO, video review?) My wife wants a iPhone and I'm trying to talk her out of it.

Sold out on VZW already ? What'd it make it till 10:30 ? Hehe, it's going to be a hot little number. Maybe Verizon will learn that there is a lot of demand for WP7. Maybe the next Mango phones will come sooner (if they don't get the Pro 7/Arrive that has been discussed to be coming to vzw) and not make us wait so long.

I have to wait, oh, well, next week, or less...I like my non-contract option :) So I'm willing to wait a little...

Perhaps I'm a little biased but after using Facebook extensively on Android and iOS, I like the integration of WP7. Facebook is integrated into the People hub and therefore you have a consistently updating "What's New" feed from all of your friends. You can also pin individual contacts to the home screen and see their feed.

There is also a separate Facebook app that gives you a similar experience to what you see on iOS or Android. But as far as ease of use, the front-and-center integration is quite nice I find, to post status and see what other people are up to.

Last thing I heard was yes but, still no conformation of anyone who has one....Verizon does not list it on their site.

I am hoping someone on here that has received the phone will confirm this for me. I know Verizon doesn't list it on their site but I am hoping that they are using the "old" specs prior to HTC using SLCDs in most of their phones.

i havent received mines yet it should be here tomorrow in the mail ill have to sit outside in my car waiting for fedex to bring mines....can the wp7 do facebook check ins within the fb app???

here's a guide that explains how to do it, its closer to the bottom after the video. leave tasks unchecked tho otherwise ull get an error.

Hotmail now supports push email, calendar, and contacts with Exchange ActiveSync

once again make sure this is a new account and that its the first one u add on the trophy otherwise ull have a mess of messenger contacts in the people hub.
yes the Facebook app does support check ins, I use it everytime I go somewhere that's worth a check in. once mango arrives there will be no need for the Facebook app as messaging,check ins and notifications will all be built in.
