once Mango is out, I will probably use WP7 more and more as a daily OS, especially since all these custom ROMs and custom themes have been released and it's just going to get better and better.

yeahh boyyy jaja sounds like MS isn't playing this time around. IE9 is where its at. i don't even have a need for a secondary browser on my pc anymore, would be great to have that power in a mobile device. what gets me is that why all this news instead on engadget (a site known to bash MS) and not on here? the front page is innundated with Android news .

As for browsers..its always more secure to use 1 browser for surfing and another one for secure stuff..this way if 1 browser is exploited..it lowers chances of being hacked..

i'm kind of glad i went with the decision to try wp7. it's going to be fun to be along for this ride as it just grows from scratch. as ms said earlier (a good point for those concerned with sales lol), "this isn't a sprint, we're running a marathon." now, as long as they give those updates as promised, this os will be ok ;).

even without the update, its a great day to day device. I can't even remember the last time I turned it off.
The mango update looks great. If they can pull multitasking off like the demo video....

What does competitive hardware mean? Front facing camera? That new chip NFS or whatever? WP7 runs smoother than phones with dual core processors. What else is there, I WP7 has no lag, a dual core Atrix does????? Who cares what processor it is.
