I am having this problem, Every time i try to set the DNS to one of the openDNS IP's it gives me an error, saying that it cannot connect.

But when i soft reset it, it goes back to the DNS being chosen automatically. I hve also noticed that my Sprint username and password are missing.. could that be the case?
So i am not sure what is going on. any help please, and thanks.

I have the exact same problem on my Mogul. Hs anyone found a fix for this? The DNS server change doesn't appear to stick. It was fine on my i830w, not on the Mogul.

Worked for me with a lil help!

I did have a little trouble with it on mine. I had to reinitiate IOTA name and password but I totally noticed a great difference in speed with latency issues. I am one verry happy 6700 FREAKAZOID!

I'm trying to change the entries, and once I press "OK, Finish, OK," nothing happens. Even after a soft restart and I go back to the "Servers" menu, the "server-assigned addresses" option is checked. What's the issue because this is pretty straight-forward? Thanks!

i know that im not going to help to much with this post, but there is a fix for this. i remember reading in another thread that there is a file somewhere on the phone that needs to be deleted so sprint settings dont get reset. unfortunately i'm om my mogul right now and cant serch for it. if i have time tomorrow and someone doesn't beet me to the punch, i'll try to track it down.

You should see your data connection restart. I like to soft-reset after this, JIK.

Enjoy faster browsing!
