Re: ESN question
Thanks everyone for the insight. I have no idea how sprint works as far as how they are with phones and activation besides bad esn's. When I get switched, I'll post (boy is the wife going to be pissed, she has no idea I'm doing this, she thinks I just trying to replace or fix my current phone/line of service). And my 14 year old (with not so hot grades) asked if he could get a phone.

Re: ESN question
well in a way you are fixing your phone and service just let her know its for the better and you're trying to do it as inexpensively as possible. as for the kid, cut a deal make them improve and sprint can always suspend a line if grades slip again
good luck! |

Re: ESN question
Oh no, he'll get cricket. I supprised him with a phone when he started 6th grade. His grades, ability to keep up with homework, all around attitude determined if he kept it. Lost it on first report card, and hasn't been able to perform better than barely passing, with the mightier than though attitude since. He needs some workin just to EARN a cricket phone now.

Re: ESN question
Yep, now to go to cricket and turn my phone off so i can port my number to sprint. Sell 2 titans and 1 touch pro that are on cricket with bad esn, and have issues of their own to offset the cost of the sprint purchase. Tell my wife I even did it (oh that is going to hurt) and find a job to help smooth her out.

Re: ESN question
Just got off phone with sprint. They ported my cricket number for me. Should take 15 minutes. Tomorrow I'll go to cricket and cancel that line. I just paid that bill too, I hope they credit my account for for next month.
